Top, You have been gone for 40 years, but I carry your memory often, I will never forget your valor for those of us you saved that day in November 1968, you were a gift to the men under you, you was hard but fair, I have tryed to find family members, but to no avail, but you are in my heart always!

I am very proud of this man and all he stands for. The military was a big scary thing for me and thru him, I overcame the fear, because I beleive in him, our country and the training that the army gave him. The army 'made the man'.

My father died Saturday, November 8, 2008 from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle accident. He was a Vietnam Veteran. His dog, who was a passenger, also passed away. My father suffered from multiple health problems. His contribution for our country came with great sacrifices. I loved my dad very much. He left behind two children and two grandchildren. He loved the outdoors, the United States of America, freedom, and his family. My dad often talked with me about being in the war. I know it was hard for him. But I am proud of his efforts and for his will to fight for our homeland. I will take the time everyday to honor my father's memory. I will never forget. I am his only daughter. And I will never forget what he did for me and my children. (I love you dad, I miss you. I know you don't have to hurt anymore, you are with the Lord.) Thank you.

I have worn Lieut Michael S Turose's POW/MIA bracelet for the last 15 years. It will remain on my wrist until he comes home. Here is Michael's story: 1st Lieutenant Michael S. Turose was reported missing on 17 September 1972 while on an operational mission in North Vietnam. The F-105G aircraft that he was the electronics warfare officer on was struck by hostile fire forcing the crew to eject. Two parachutes were seen to land I water, but no voice contact was made. Navy rescue personnel attempted recovery, but were unsuccessful. Evidence of death was received on 25 September 1972 and his status was changed to Killed in Action at that time.

He served in the Military for 26 years with great pride. He was in Vietnam, Kosovo, and Iraq. I am honored to of had him for my father, he lost his battle with cancer a week ago, so as a tribute to my Daddy I say a huge thank you to all of the military men and women who made sacrafices for our country, our future. You are all truly magnificent people! We are all honored to have you in this world! God Bless you all.

Sean forever eched a place in our hearts. We all still hold his memory close. Growing up with him as a friend,watching all the football games and all the fun at the lake was a gift from God. As the years have passed I can now rejoice knowing that we will meet again in heaven one day. Though we may not understand why, this was all Gods plan, and I thank the Lord for the short but precious time Sean was here and the impact he made on all our lives.

Here's to you Dad. . . Thank you for surviving and coming home. A thank you long over due. From your baby boomer Viet Nam Veteran son. We never talked after I got back.
